Vineyard weddings are some of the most beautiful–and versatile–of weddings. Here on Long Island we are lucky to be able to choose between numerous vineyards with wedding venues whose styles run the gamut from Tuscan manors, to historic farmhouses, to rustic barns, to sophisticated lounges, that can host gatherings from the intimate to a crowd. It’s totally up to you (and your wallet.) And if you have your heart set on another location, it’s easy enough to incorporate vineyard style in any wedding. Bella Flowers has the experience and the vision to create the vineyard or vineyard style wedding of your dreams.

And while the deep reds of wine seem to make vineyards uniquely suited to fall weddings, a vineyard wedding can be beautiful at any time of the year. Such as this spring wedding at Sparkling Pointe on the North Fork, with flowers by Bella:

Bella worked closely with the bride to create this beautiful spring wedding at Sparkling Pointe vineyard on the North Fork. Rustic table numbers among the gleaming crystal and the snowy candles remind guests that they are indeed on a working vineyard. Sparkling Pointe only produces champagne–very appropriate for a wedding!

As this wedding aptly shows, having a vineyard wedding doesn’t mean having to stick to classic “wine” colors. The fresh blue and white of these centerpieces, complemented by the grayish tones of the succulents, are perfect for a spring vineyard wedding. And here juicy grapes inspired by the location are incorporated into centerpieces of white and spring green.

OK, those mountains rising over the vines are definitely not on eastern Long Island, but the stunning ceremony bower dripping with magenta blooms would look just as amazing in the North or South Forks.

It seems natural to include wine-inspired shades such as burgundy and Merlot in your vineyard wedding, but don’t forget the neutrals inspired by white wines such as Champagne and Chardonnay, the deeper, warmer neutrals of brandy and cognac, and of course the playful pink of rose wines.

And if you just want to bring in some vineyard style to your wedding, there are many options, such as this whimsical use of corks to create a table number:

And here corks are used as playful vase filler:

Wine barrels are another natural choice for vineyard style, as are wine crates.

But the easiest way to bring vineyard-inspired style to your wedding is to include the gorgeous shades of wine in your color scheme:
