With 2014 on the horizon, Bella Flowers did some research to see what’s trending in Wedding Flowers for the new year.  Here’s what couples are showing interest in so far:

1.  A sweet, romantic look with soft colors and delicate flowers – Yes, couples are in love with the romantic flair this vintage heirloom trend gives, and it is still in full swing.  Garden roses, peony, ranunculus, calla lilly, freesia and hydrangea are popular choices in creating gorgeous wedding bouquets.

2.  Natural, organic; bringing the outside in – This trend is increasing in popularity, thanks to Kate Middleton and Prince William and their English country garden wedding flowers inside Westminster Abbey.  Succulents, helleborous, green hydrangea, flowering branches, berries, etc… are popular choices for wedding flower arrangements to help create the outdoor feeling inside.

3.  Bold and beautiful – We can’t leave out couples who love bright-colored wedding flowers with unique twists.  Dahlias, anemones, and bold-colored roses, along with contrasting whites,or opposites (ie..oranges and blues or purples) can help create outstanding bridal bouquets and wedding flower centerpieces for this courageous trend.
