Thanks to their shared passion for the New York Jets, Diana and Adam had an instant connection when they met. After spending every day thereafter together, they were married on June 28, 2013, at New York’s luxurious and stunning Gramercy Park Hotel. The views of the city were incredible!
Her Mother Carmen and sister Vicky were truly a pleasure to work with. They chose White Orchids and Peony for their wedding flowers. We had a great time creating their vision. Diana and Adam were surrounded by beautiful draping Cymbidium Orchids and hurricane candle lamps, while Diana carried a luscious bridal bouquet of soft, blushing Peony. Adam wore a bouttonierre made of White Freesia with a touch of Dusty Miller to give a vintage feel. White Garden Rose petals and Peony bouquets lined the aisles. The entire wedding floral display was quite exquisite!

Diana shared their love story with us below:
How did you meet?
Adam and I met at a friend’s birthday party. Adam and I both work in education, and a girl he taught with was in my graduate school program. He was wearing a Jets hat. I am obsessed with the Jets, so I decided to go over and talk to him. The rest is history. We haven’t spent a day apart.
Where did you go on your first date?
We met on a Thursday and our first date was that Sunday at the Jets vs. Patriots game. Unfortunately the Jets lost but we had a great time.
How did Adam propose?
This is less romantic. We kind of proposed to each other in our apartment when major life changes in professions were happening for me. We both just decided this was the perfect window to get married.
If there is one thing you know you’ll never forget about your wedding day, what would it be?
That anyone can pull off a wedding in 5 weeks… haha! Adam and I got married with a 5-week engagement. Our wedding was amazing! People keep asking me how we did it. It really wasn’t too hard! Pick a great venue and trust your vendors. 🙂
Is there something you would do differently that you can share with other couples?
I didn’t realize how crazy getting all the pictures in would be. I have a large family, and it was crazy trying to fit in all of the pictures. I wish I did a better job of organizing that.
Where did you go for your honeymoon?
We went to Napa to drink wine. 🙂 (Sounds like fun … Beautiful wine country)
Thanks for sharing your story with us, Adam and Diana. We’re glad we were a part of your happy day and wish you the best together!
